Produced by Mercedes-Benz to the original casting specifications in high-strength alloy cast iron, this head carries 2 intake and 2 exhaust valves per cylinder (24 valves total), DOHC valve gear, and fully integrated coolant and oil galleries that maintain optimal combustion temperatures across long-haul, distribution and construction applications. OE Cross-Reference: A4710102720 is fully interchangeable with A4710103120, A4710104420, A4710105220, A4710105420, A4710105920 and A4710107520, covering the full OM471 power band from 308 kW (420 HP) up to 390 kW (530 HP).
